1.What is the Capacity of your wine Cabinet and is it actually possible to reach the total capacity advertised?
The wine cabinet ostensibly should hold 700 bottles, but I think ads state about 600 - it has racking for 532 bottles and holds quite a few more large and small format and odd sized bottles up top.
2. Is the wine cabinet durable, does it need to be repaired often?
The wine cabinet has a Breezaire cooling unit and it has maintained 58 degrees quite steadily. The cooling unit broke (not compressor) after about four years. I had it shipped to Breezeaire and had it back in under two weeks.The cost was reasonable - I think it ran aboout $250 including shipping - the folks at Breezeaire were very cooperative.
3. How is the customer and repair service if your wine cabinet breaks down?
The Wine fridge has never broken down, so I do not know about customer service.
4.Would you consider the wine cabinet value for money considering the price and total cap. of the wine cabinet?
I have rental lockers too at a cost of over $1/bottle/year. Excluding electricity for the cabinet, I figure this unit has cost about $4/bottle over a 7 year period.
5.What are the materials used for this particular wine cabinet and is the wine cabinet difficult to assemble?
I'm not too sure what the materials are - finished wood grain exterior - no assembly required - it has redwood racking (extra cost) which I recommend against -the rack has driven splinters over an inch long under my fingernails trying to reach the second bottle.
6.If you had to rate this wine cabinet out of 10 stars, considering the (Total Cap, Value for money, Durability and Repair Service + other factors) how many stars would you rate it?
Good performance, good value, give it an "8".
