Wine Chillers

Purposes of a Wine Chiller
Most fine wines taste better at a particular temperature; a quick experiment will show the truth of this statement. Open two bottles of fine wine and keep one in the wine chiller, let the other bottle warm to room temperature and pour a glass of wine from each bottle. There will be a marked difference in their tastes and aromas showing the important of serving wine at a suitable temperature.
Wine chillers often have elaborate designs which are pleasing to the eye; designs can include the stars and the moon or even carvings of wine bottles. Many wine chillers are often made of metal which is a good conductor of heat; however this will not greatly affect the temperature of the wine if there is sufficient ice inside the wine chiller. Before you rush off to buy a wine chiller, make sure that the wine chiller is large enough to fit a bottle of wine comfortably. Some wine chillers have no space for the ice once you place the bottle in and are essentially useless, so learn from my mistake and don't commit it yourself.
